PURCHASING RINGTONES & IMAGES FROM YOUR COMPUTER
Once you've selected the ringtone or image that you'd like to download, press
the Buy button. You will be prompted to login with your MuchMusic Membership,
or create one if you haven't already.
Once you have logged in, "Confirm" your purchase and a special link will be
sent to your phone. If your phone does not notify you, check your Browser
Messages or Net Alerts for the link.
Several phone models will require you to save your download. You should be
prompted, in most cases, to do this when necessary, but check your user manual
to be sure. If you are prompted, be sure to save. Many phones require you to
find your new ringtone or image on the cell phone and set it as active. Consult
your user manual on how to do this. Other phones will automatically set the
media for you, while others may offer you different prompts.
RINGTONE & IMAGE SHOPPING FROM YOUR CELL PHONE
Using the website at muchmusic.com/shop is a great way to preview your media
before you buy it, but you can also make purchases directly from your phone.
This is a convenient way to get that new track while you're on the move. To get
directly to new ringtones from MuchMusic text NEW to 299299 (free text) and a
link will be sent to your phone taking you directly to the new ringtones page.
You can also sign-up to get weekly text alerts so you can be the first to know
about the newest and hottest tones. To get hooked up, text START NEW
to 299299. You'll receive a text message asking you to confirm
your request by responding YES to 299299. You will then receive a
confirmation text message asking you to check your browser messages or net
alerts for your first link. New text alerts are sent every week on Tuesdays. To
stop receiving weekly text alerts at any time, text STOP NEW to 299299.
