MUCHMUSIC EMBED FAQ
A: Social Networking sites are web sites which allow users to join and create their own web destinations to express themselves whether it be through blogs, music, video or pictures and now their MOBILE content (ringtone, image or game).
A: Embed is a term which means to add an element to a document or web page. By
clicking on the embed buttons in the ringtone store you are provided with
code to add your chosen ringtone, image or game to your Social Networking page.
A: You can embed a ringtone, image or game currently on MySpace, Facebook,
Friendster or Blogger.
A: To embed a ringtone, image or game on your Social Networking page follow
these steps:

Choose a ringtone, image or game you wish to have embedded on your Social
Networking page.

Click on the EMBED button which brings you to a pop-up window.

Choose the Social Networking site of your choice by clicking on it.

Copy the code provided, follow the instructions and you are on your way!
A: Yes! You can add as many ringtones, images or games to your Social
Networking page or pages as you want. Each item you add will be shown
separately on your page.
A: For MySpace, Blogger or Friendster users, you can remove your embedded item
by deleting the code you originally pasted on your page. For Facebook users,
you can remove an embedded item by deleting the post on your Super Wall.
A: MuchMusic ringtones, images and games can only be purchased from supporting
Canadian carriers: Telus Mobility, Bell Mobility, Rogers, Fido, Sasktel, MTS
and Aliant.
A: Unfortunately not at this time. The Super Wall is the only way to post an
embedded item on your Facebook page.
A: This may be possible, however, embedded items have only been tested for
MySpace, Facebook, Friendster and Blogger.
A: Please ensure that you have copied the entire code provided from MuchMusic. For Facebook users, please ensure that you are using the Super Wall to post, otherwise the provided code will not be as effective. For Friendster users, the links on the embedded items will only work in Internet Explorer.
A: Please ensure that you have the latest Flash version installed. The embedded code requires Flash version 8 or higher. Embedded code is best viewed in Internet Explorer.
